Sometimes both at the same time. Products that control acid reflux like Zantac inhibit serotonin production so taking them on a regular basis can cause depression and edginess.Integrative Therapeutics used to have a product called Panplex 8 which, with only two tablets three times daily, made me so I could eat most foods without difficulty. It felt nothing short of miraculous but they stopped making it, recommending Bio-zyme instead.Now I take a combination of Bio-zyme and their other product Panplex Phase 2 but the two together are less effective than the old Panplex 8 was. The reason I keep giving them my business is that, as relatively ineffective as these two products are, they're still better than most of what else is on the market. If they brought back Panplex 8, I would be a customer for life.
