Minnesota grocer Patrick J. Towel introduced the brand in 1887, and named it in honor of his childhood hero and true American icon, president Abraham Lincoln. President Lincoln grew up in a log cabin, deep in the woods of Kentucky – hence the brand name Log Cabin, chosen by Mr. Towel to honor Abraham Lincoln. With a history like that, it's no surprise that Log Cabin continues to be known for tradition at the breakfast table and its delicious taste. Everyone in the family will enjoy Log Cabin Syrup, available in Original, Lite, and Sugar Free varieties. The Best! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sweetly Satisfying *by on Reviewed in the United States 11 January 2026* First two uses was harsh on my throat, as if I'd just eaten 30 packs of sugar straight, or eaten a single page of sandpaper. After that, I had absolutely no issues with it.Texture: nice and smooth.Taste: Great, but sometimes it seemed inconsistent; never needing butter one day, few days later you can't taste anything unless you added butter.Pour Rate: Consistent, thick enough to take a squeeze or two to cover your pancake/waffle, but not be watery like Dutch Mill, and thin enough that it doesn't fall into the super thick Mrs. Butterworth's territory.Color: Standard Dark Amber that most syrup brand's seem to fall into. (I'm legally blind, so this may not be 100% accurate)All things considered, giving it a rating of 5/5 at it's been the most consistent in taste/texture/color out of all syrup that I've used, outside of the Kirkland brand. ## Frequently Bought Together - Log Cabin Original Pancake Syrup, 64 Fl oz - Mrs. Butterworth Pancake and Waffle Mix, 32 Ounce - Maruchan Ramen Chicken, Instant Ramen Noodles, Ready to Eat Meals, 3 Oz, 24 Count --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/619263833-syrup-original-64-ounce](https://www.desertcart.at/products/619263833-syrup-original-64-ounce) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
