Can i lock this?** A: No, it is just a vinyl cover held in place with elastic. Slip-on, slip-off. **Q: Spare tire size is 205/75/15. Should I buy the 15” cover?** A: Before you buy the cover, measure the diameter of the tire you want to cover. If the tire diameter is 28"-29", you should buy a 15" cover. If your tire diameter is 26"-27", you should buy a 14" cover. 30"-31" diameter, buy a 16" cover. **Q: Mine collects and retains water in the bottom. Any ideas how to stop it?** A: Really I don't know how you would. I try to keep mine tucked up tight. Hate I can't tell you more than that. You might put a metal gromit in the very button for a drain hole. Not much of a idea. **Q: My rv tire size is 205 75 r14..what size do i get?** A: The 14" one is what I would get if that is truly your tire size. Anything bigger would have a sloppy look where that size fits perfect. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great tire protector *by S***N on December 24, 2025* Purchased to cover spare tire on a utility trailer. Good quality, protects the tire from sun, fit 15' tire very affordable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Well for Me *by B***R on December 21, 2021* I ordered the Amfor 15 inch (for wheel diameter 28-29 inches) spare tire cover and have had a good experience. The vinyl material was fairly thick (hoping that translates into durability) yet easy to fit over the tire. My tire size is 215/70/16, and the cover fit nice and snug. You do need to work with it a little when placing it over the tire to make sure it's even all the way around. I have had no issues at all when at highway speed. Very good value! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gotten lighter (compared to 5 years ago), but price is the same! Last one useable for almost 5 yrs. *by B***M on June 17, 2026* Bought one originally 9/25/21. Lasted just under 5 yrs. Replaced it 6/15/26. Old one weighed 14.7 oz. New one is 20% lighter at 12.2 oz. I don't expect it to last nearly as long. Be sure to measure your total tire width or you may end up ordering one that's too big. I ordered 14" both times for my 2004 CR/V - 205/70R15 tires and it fits great. My tire width was 26.2".. Easy to install. Wrinkles will mostly smooth out after a week in the sun. No, it's not *nearly* the same a a factory cover that costs 4-5x. Have to see how long this one lasts. The product details state in one picture: "Dust contaminants in the air will make the surface of the spare tire cover smoother and have no friction, which increases the safety hazard of driving." I don't understand this nonsense at all!! ## Frequently Bought Together - AmFor 28-29 inch Spare Tire Cover, Universal Fit for Jeep, Trailer, RV, SUV, Truck,Tough Tire Wheel Soft Cover Diameter 28" - 29", Camper Wheel, Weatherproof Tire Protectors (Black) - Trimax A-33060-SPK TNL740 Spare Tire Nut Lock for Side Mount Spare Tires - GADFISH Spare Tire Carrier,Spare Tire Mount Boat Trailer Carrier Bracket,Heavy Duty Lock Holder,Fits 4 & 5 & 6 Lugs Trailer Wheels on 4", 4.5'', 4.75'', 5'' and 5.5'' Bolt Patterns,Holds up to 150 Lbs --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/61944496-spare-tire-cover-black](https://www.desertcart.at/products/61944496-spare-tire-cover-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
