It's powerful, runs quietly and gets the job done. I've had other pumps with metal housings that have corroded, so was glad to see this one is not metal. I like that the intake on the bottom is designed in a way that helps present debris from clogging it up, and it picks up water in a very shallow depth. I needed to drain my in ground pool. The pump was able to extract ~10,000 gallons / day. This was with a normal garden hose attached to it.
