We've been using stainless steel straws for a while. For all of their environmental benefits, they always feel a bit uncomfortbale/harsh when you're using them. Klean Kanteen have solved this by making a slightly shorter steel straw with an added Silicone mouthpiece on the top. This gives the straw a more familiar feel and makes it less harsh in your mouth and no risk to your teeth. They come apart easily for cleaning with the provided brush and are dishwasher safe.They even come in all-paper packaging, helping to reduce single-use plastics further still.What's not to like - get saving the planet today!

No more plastic straws! Hooray! These are great, and come with their own cleaning brush. The silicon mouth-ends are very good - my daughter can bite them with no ill effects (to her or the straw). The only downside is their weight - they will easily tip over a plastic cup without much in it, so you have to be careful of spills. Nonetheless, an excellent product and highly recommended as a reusable alternative to disposable straws.
