I use it when my hair is wet and dry both. I am pretty satisfied. If you have 4A-C hair or if your hair is coarse, you probably would want the Medium-Thick brush. Pros: 1. The bristles do a good job of detangling my wet hair without pulling. 2. I like to have the bristles massage my scalp when I brush and these have just enough firmness to massage without being so firm that they scratch. 3. It is comfortable to hold and has texture, so it does not slip when wet. 4. So far, I have not lost any of the little beads at the end of the bristles. 5. Being able to remove the cushion to clean out the bristles and sanitize is a great feature. No more water getting trapped behind the cushion! Cons: 1.
