Once filled with water (about 10 gallons) you definitely want to move it by the base. Set up was pretty easy, but you will want to watch the video and follow instructions to make it easier. With that being said, I did have a minor issue and sent them an email. Within an hour or so, they responded and went way above and beyond to get everything straight. I wish I could give customer service higher that 5 stars. They were absolutely fantastic! Their website contains a lot of valuable info about growing hydroponically. Anything from starting seeds properly, pH, when to transplant to the tower... nearly everything you need to know. Everything is automatic with the timers (watering and light) and totally adjustable for you needs. The wonderful thing about the Alto Garden, is that is does not require an app or any kind of subscription service like others that are required to run at full potential. That is a huge plus!
