Two or thre coats will create a water repellent, wipeable finish for dining room tables and kitchen cabinets. - Curing time. The wax will be touch dry after 1- 2 hours, depending on conditions. Wax should be fully hardened after 5 days but solvents can take up to 21 days to fully evaporate. Results vary depending on previous treatments of the surface. Treat your finished piece with extra care while the wax cures — this can take between 5 and 21 days. - Aftercare: To maintain your finish wash with mild soapy water and a soft damp cloth, re-wax if necessary. Chalk Paint Wax is water repellent so can be used on kitchens, cupboards and table tops. Apply two coats of wax. Not recommended for areas with a lot of water.
