When there are more 1 star reviews than there are 2 and 3 star reviews is generally a dead giveaway. I basically don't trust 5 star reviews anymore, which is sad, but I can't afford to waste money **Q: Is this worth the full $25? Does the sticky stuff hold well for a heavy Iphone X?** A: I have had this on the dash of my 2010 RAV4 since 2017. Started with the super big IPhone 6. And have had multiple other phones mounted in it. The moving parts still work perfectly. My biggest fear was whether the pad would hold. It came loose the day we hit 118 here in Portland. And one other time during extreme heat. I was relieved to see no damage to the dash. I rinsed the sticky stuff under cold water and much to my surprise it reattached good as new. I am so glad I don't have to bother with a magnetic slug in my case. And I love that it rotates to horizontal. I don't know if it's better than the other brands that use this design. But I can tell you this one works and has been trouble free for me after four years. Your mileage may vary. **Q: Will it work with a thick phone case?** A: I have an otter case and a pop socket and it’s too thick for it to stay on. Had to return. Without the pop socket it’d be a fantastic product that’d hold my phone. **Q: I have a credit card holder on the back of my phone that holds 3 credit cards. What is the depth of the holder?** A: The depth is approximately 3/4 of an inch. I have an iPhone 7 with a credit card holder on the back as well, and it’s definitely not a probl m. Ich mache mir keine Sorgen, dass die Halterung zeitnah dem Gewicht eines S23 Ultras nachgibt, welches übrigens wunderbar und bequem mit Schutzhülle reinpasst. Der Mechanismus ist super einfach einhändig zu bedienen und einfach klasse gemacht. Hat nicht nur den Vorteil, dass man das Handy kinderleicht platzieren kann, sondern auch dass man nicht an der Halterung rupfen, sie dabei evtl beschädigt oder gleich ganz von der scheibe reißt. Diese Halterung eignet sich auch um ein Zweithandy als Dashcam zu nutzen, weil sie, wenn an der Scheibe angebracht, kaum bis garnicht im Weg ist, allerdings wäre es für diesen Use Case verschwendetes Geld.
