The app connects and is easy to program. I haven't had any issues with food getting stuck. I've refilled it a few times since I started using it with no issues. With a huge koi tank, this doesn't let out a huge amount of food at one time. You can tell it to rerun the feeding cycle many times though, If you want. I currently have it set to do two rounds of feedings in the morning and another 2 in the afternoon and another 2 in the evening. It's really quiet. The fish seem happy with it! On larger tanks there is a lip that allows a glass top to be fitted on the tank, the clamp system is wide enough to accommodate the thickness of my huge tank but it does not get around the lip of plastic. This means that the unit is really just sitting on the top quarter inch of the tank frame. Its confusing on how to reset your password and once you the app doesnt recognize it which render your supply of feeders useless. ( they may still feed on their programmed schedule) Feeder works fairly well. I have had other automatic feeders that gum up quickly.
