A: First, connect the joint of the manual pump to the jack; then, select the position and tighten the drain screw of the hydraulic pump to work.

**Q: Why must it be placed on a flat surface?**
A: All cylinders must be placed on a flat and resistant ground. If they are placed on sandy ground or on loose surfaces, the cylinder will be damaged.

**Q: Why doesn't the piston fall back automatically?**
A: After the pressure is relieved, the piston can only retract with the help of heavy gravity. It is recommended to pressed directly by hand.

**Q: Does the hydraulic pump come with hydraulic oil?**
A: Yes, this hydraulic pump is shipped with hydraulic oil.

**Q: Why the jack is a little oily?**
A: Due to the long transportation journey, it is NORMAL for hydraulic products to leak slightly. Please tighten the sealing plug when you are not using the hydraulic pump, and seal the joint with a small bag and rubber band to avoid oil leakage.

As a frame technician and the auto body field, this comes in so handy fitting it in tight spots that the metal needs to be pushed out and back to factory form. It holds a ton of hydraulic pressure. Only one downfall but it doesn't affect its use that you have to release the pressure after use in order to set it back to its original form. It doesn't retract on its own but that's okay. Just don't be so lazy and you'll love this product. It does what it says it does

This is a very useful short stroke jack that fits into tight spaces. I purchased a 1" stroke, 2 stage, 10 ton jack to lift a 5 ton machine. No problems at all!
