It has plastic windows that cover and protect the outer and inner screens from scratches but that do not get in the way of reading the brightly lit screens.The belt clip, obviously designed for a male user, fits tightly enough over a belt to make loss of the phone unlikely. And this, to me, is an important strength of the design.To answer a call, while wearing it in its case on a belt, you can unsnap the button at the top rear of the case (near the clip). You then can slip the phone upward out of the case's bottom clip portion, basically splitting the case in half. The top half of the case remains protectively over the screen portions of the phone while you answer the call. After the call, you can easily slip the phone back into the bottom portion of its case and snap it in place. (With some cases, you pull a phone completely out of its case to answer or make a call, thus exposing it to damage should you drop it.)Of course, when the phone is not on your belt, you can make and answer calls with the phone completely enclosed in the case. Clear plastic also covers the dialing and function buttons, so they are covered protectively but are also readable and accessible.All in all, a quite well-designed case. My very old tech Nokia flip phone can go 5 days w/o a charge on standby (left on) if calls are few and short.That said, no one is interested in flip phone, so finding a replacement flip style case for it, at a reasonable price was a challenge. This case fit the Nokia phone perfectly. It was a little tight 1st getting it on, but it did go on. Now the leather has relaxed a bit and it is a pefect fit.I think the same case is also on Amazon but is advertised as a Verizon phone case.
