It says it’s 0.4 x 0.4 x 0.4. That seems wrong** A: Not sure how big around it is but I think it’s around 26”-28” tall with the lid. It holds 5 gallon of water **Q: can it be used for hot liquids?** A: Hmmm. I don't know! I am always cautious when putting hot liquids in plastic containers, myself. The rubbermaid has been great for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid cooler *by L***L on July 12, 2017* I purchased this cooler to keep water in my vehicle for use with a portable shower - I open the top, put in the pump and away we go. The cooler itself is solidly made, and I have it tied down in my vehicle using two straps and the handles to hold things secure. In otherwords, the handles are very sturdy as well. It has not leaked from the drinking spout at all. The only 'complaint' I would have is that the top is a bit awkward to open (only a bit) and close.. when closing, I have to be very careful not to mis-thread it. I can open with one hand, but closing typically takes two. Due to the easy potential to mis-thread when replacing lid if I'm not paying attention, I have given 4 stars instead of 5 - but that is really just me being very picky. Water within it stays cool even on the hottest days (in a vehicle on a 90 degree day, all day, and at evening the water is still cold to my touch).
