The product arrived in an desertcart box to protect it from getting squished, which was good. desertcart driver left parcel in the rain without knocking, which was not good. The packet says on it that there are 6 individually wrapped cakes in the box. I assumed by the size of the box that the cakes would be bigger/ longer, but it turns out that the 6 cakes don't take up all the space in the box and they're smaller. They are individually wrapped for freshness and as soon as you open one, you get the scent of ready- made cakes, the way the ready- made Madeleines smell - I personally love that buttery scent and aroma , some people don't like it. Each cake consists of three blocks or waffle with chocolate inside each block. They taste pretty standard for a ready- made cake and they are moist and light. Great snack for kids and adults for days out as well as home. PS: If you dunk this into your tea/ coffee, be quick or it'll collapse into your mug! The company renamed the products and you can see on the back of the box the other products by the same company and their new names.
