## Description

Three episodes of the classic children's programme, about Postman Pat and his black-and-white cat Jess. In 'Postman Pat and the Suit of Armour', Pat has to help Ted after he gets stuck in a suit of armour he was restoring for the fair. In 'Postman Pat In a Muddle', Pat's glasses get broken by a gigantic parcel at the Post Office and he can't see where he's going. Finally, 'Postman Pat and the Robot' sees Ted invent a robot to help Pat in the Post Office, which quickly goes out of control.

Three classic episodes of old school Postman Pat: Postman Pat and the Suit of Armour, Postman Pat in A Muddle, Postman Pat and the Robot.  This is proper Postman Pat: Jess acts like a cat (not a plot device), the main players are adults (Pat, Mrs Goggins, Ted, Miss Hubbard etc) and behave like human beings.  The storytelling is genuinely engaging with a three dimensional feel (unlike the "New" bogus Postman Pat stories which are child-centric, 2D and feature Jess as a lassie mind-reader for the 21st Century).  These gentle tales of village life are warm and wonderful: Old School Postman Pat at his best.

Three classic episodes from the original Postman Pat. As others have mentioned, the unskippable trailers are deeply irritating, however they can at least be fast-forwarded!

I bought this for my grandson - he loves Pat and watches this DVD however its the original format and he seems to prefer the more up to date Pat so this one takes second place to his other Pat DVDs.
