I dont know the exact answer but i have to put it on the warmest setting otherwise frost builds. Which is ideal for me because i was worried it wouldnt get cold enough. It certainly does. On the coldest setting and bottle of water will slowly freeze. **Q: Is ventilation space required at the back of the fridge? This information contained in the instruction manual bu I haven't purchased yet** A: I would say sufficient air circulation as pure standard fridge. **Q: Am i missing something? i can hear the fridge working but the light switch isn't. do i have to do something first or have i got a dodgy bulb?** A: Sounds like you may have a dodgey bulb. Your light switch is at the front of th fridge use inside with a flick on and off switch. The thermostat is in front and switch just left of tpyur fridge just feel about and you should be able to find it.
