My cat liked to spit out his medicine and have it drip down the front of his chest so he got really crusty and this helped work some of it out and soften his fur up so I wasn’t ripping it out when I brushed him. It left a tiny bit of a sticky residue but I think I didn’t wipe it off well enough. After a few grooms he was back to being fluffy and soft again. It turned his white fur yellow for a few days but after those self grooms he was white again.
