**Q: can this paint be ok for oil tank?**
A: Yes it will be ok for a metal oil tank but not plastic.  Red Oxide is an anti-rust primer basecoat for metal which once dry you can paint over with any other colour.

**Q: Can this paint be applied to galvanised surfaces?**
A: You would have to use an etch primer coat first before applying the top coat.

**Q: Can you use a synthetic thinner so this can be used in a sprayer**
A: Better to thin the red oxid primer with white spirt prior to spraying, it's important to use a suitable mask to protect your lungs.
