I buy this sampler box by small pet select occasionally when my buns seem bored by their usual hay and I want to encourage them to eat more of it. The box is packed with premium hay of various types that smells like walking in a summer meadow and excites my furry friends. I open the box and let them at it. It invariably encourages their hay appetite and does a great job of reminding them of how good hay is for them. I like the box as it is easy to store away between feeding sessions and select the various hays. It also keeps the hay fresh. The hay I have received has always been fresh with plenty of variety and good thick stems, no dust at all. The colour is good. Recommended for all your spoiled buns! Review: To try four samples in one box. - Loved the way it was packaged So easy to chose which variety my rabbits were having and liked the best. Four excellent varieties. ## Features - Includes Our Top 4 Best Selling Hay; 2Nd Cutting, 3Rd Cutting, Orchard And Oat - Great Solution To Test Out Which Hay Best Suits Your Little Animals Tastes Or To Add Variety To Diet - By & For Small Animal Owners - We'Re Passionate About Our Pets, So We Hand-Select & Package In Small Batches As Only Pet-Lovers Would Do - Delivered Fresh & Minimally Handled - Direct To Your Door In A High Strength Corrugated Box Which Opens And Closes For Easy Storage - The Highest Quality - Premium Hay For Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, And Chinchillas ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06Y336MK8 | | Additional Features | Sampler Box | | Age Range Description | All Life Stages | | Age range (description) | All Life Stages | | Allergen Information | Buckwheat Free | | Animal Food Diet Type | Plant-Based | | Best Sellers Rank | #63,879 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #2,437 in Cat Beds & Blankets | | Brand | Small Pet Select | | Brand Name | Small Pet Select | | Breed Recommendation | All Breed Sizes, Small Breeds | | Container Type | Carton | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 474 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Small | | Flavor | Timothy Hay | | Flavour | Timothy Hay | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00611138712231 | | Included Components | Small Pet Select Hay, Sampler Box | | Item Form | Stick | | Item Type Name | Pet Hay Select Sample Box | | Item Weight | 8 Pounds | | Item form | Stick | | Manufacturer | Small Pet Select -- Dropship | | Manufacturer Part Number | SMPLR-1 | | Model Number | SMPLR-1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday | | Pet Type | Small Animal | | Product Benefits | Test which hay suits your pet or add variety to diet | | Specific Uses For Product | pet bedding/litter | | Specific uses for product | pet bedding/litter | | Target Species | Rabbit | | UPC | 611138712231 850044717989 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Unit count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** All Life Stages - **Brand:** Small Pet Select - **Flavour:** Timothy Hay - **Item form:** Stick - **Specific uses for product:** pet bedding/litter ## Images ![Sampler Hay Box, 2ND Cutting, 3RD Cutting Timothy Hay, Oat Hay, & Orchard Hay - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/912uKJYmDkL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is the oat hay suppose to be so yellow? Looks so different from the picture and my bunny won’t enough touch it** A: Yes, oat hay is yellow in color. I'm sorry your bunny isn't enjoying it. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so if your pet doesn't like what you ordered, we're happy to send you a replacement of the same kind or different (must be equivalent value) or give you a store credit. when reported within 30 days of receipt. **Q: How long does this usually last for a bunny?** A: Not to sound smart, but it depends on how many bunnies and how much of the hay you're feeding them. My box was 8lbs, it lasted about 1 month for 1 adult 6 pound havanna rabbit. **Q: any bermuda hay?** A: Hi! Thanks so much for your inquiry! I'm afraid the sampler box does not have bermuda hay, but instead it contains 2nd cut timothy, 3rd cut timothy, oat hay, and orchard grass hay :) Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions! Thank you! Brooke and the Small Pet Select Family **Q: Seller: how many lbs of hay is included in this box?** A: There is a total of 8 lb of hay. 2 lb each of 2nd cut, 3rd cut, Oat hay and Orchard hay. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bunny Heaven! *by S***B on 5 December 2024* I have 2 house bunnies who are spoilt rotten because they are soooo darn cute! Four excellent varieties. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So fresh! *by L***V on 7 August 2026* My number 1 hay choice was always 2nd cut Timothy Hay from Small Pet Select, but recently (the past 5 boxes), every batch has been straw/ pointy like needles, has had dried up bugs.. and I end up having to throw out half of it. This sampler box has been a life saver! This is now my 3rd order and I have had no problems! It's a nice variety for my picky girl and is so fresh. She actually eats 99% of the box, there is much less dust than some other hay bought in stores, and is definitely worth the money! I top it off with a handful of their Gourmet Hay and it's the perfect mix. Highly recommend! ## Frequently Bought Together - Small Pet Select-Sampler Box, 2ND Cutting, 3RD Cutting Timothy Hay, Oat Hay, & Orchard Hay - Oxbow Animal Health Natural Science Digestive Support, High Fiber Supplement for Rabbit & Guinea Pig, Made with Timothy Hay, Includes Chicory Root, Ginger Root, Chamomile, Made in USA, 4.2 oz Bag - Kaytee Timothy Hay Blend Cubes for Pet Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas, and Other Small Animals, 1 Pound --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/646080986-sampler-hay-box-2nd-cutting-3rd-cutting-timothy-hay-oat](https://www.desertcart.at/products/646080986-sampler-hay-box-2nd-cutting-3rd-cutting-timothy-hay-oat) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
