My thoughts + *by Y***Y on 5 July 2020* 1. First of all, never read a better series. The story arc has been amazing. An all time classic. If you're an avid/beginner manga/anime watcher and reader, you can never go wrong with this one. It has the perfect combination of suspense+drama+thrill+comedy. I had heard about it a million times and reading it was even better. The book was delivered to me in mint condition. Plus, I received a bookmark too (Yay!). 2. Reasons to buy the Black Edition: i) Bigger printing so easier to read ii) The 13th book (Death Note Rule Book), as it appears has been incorporated inside the books throughout the series(between chapters). iii) Includes few (beginning) color pages in each book. iv) It costs lesser than the original version, as it doesn't have the cover art I guess (but if u want the art, you can go for the originals edition). However the cover art is included in black and white inside the books.
