None of the palm trees/leaves have disappeared or faded away at all and I am continiously moving my phone in and out of my pockets. It offers great protection, it has a soft rubber material but sturdy enough to protect it. It wraps around the top of the phone so that there is a little protection if it were to drop flat down the screen couldn't crack. Would recommend!
