Review: DS lite - This is a fab little machine. All my 4 kids have got one and they bought me one in pink for Xmas last year. My youngest had the eldests old original DS and therefore kept pinching mine so this Christmas I bought her this red one. She was delighted to have the same console as her brothers and sister and in red too. Had a free Gamexpert DS essentials kit in the same colour free with it, Gamexpert DS Lite/DSi VFM Essentials Bundle - Red (Nintendo DS) which was a bonus and goes nicely with her DS. We now all play massive games of Mario Kart! Unfortunately just after new Year one of the buttons at the back jammed and she was back to using mine but a quick email to desertcart and a replacement was sent. The console is wonderful, a lovely shade of dark red, it is very versatile having a huge amount of games available to buy. It is portable and small enough to fit in a handbag or large pocket. The service from desertcart is brilliant and I am glad I bought it from them and not anywhere else. I know it broke soon after getting it but none of the others have been any trouble, even the old faithful DS original that is now a few years old has never had any problems so I am not worried it will happen again, think it was just a fluke. Very highly recommended

A: Of course they can. Gaming is growing in popularity for the female audience. There are games available to purchase for both genders that will cover a range of ages. But to be honest the number of games available specifically for girls is still slightly limited. However, there are also plenty of games that are suited to almost any audience depending on their taste in genre. It depends entirely on what sort of game the user enjoy. I personally love RPGs and the DS has some great obscure ones.

It came just wrapped in bubble wrap which could have been a problem if delivery person was rough with it. Could also do with a clean before posting as I had to wipe it down myself before playing. Console itself is in very good condition :)
