I’ve had people up to 230 sit on them, and also elderly people where I was worried about comfort, and there have been zero issues (in fact, people always mention to me with surprise how sturdy and comfortable they are!). They have a sticky grip at the bottom so don’t slide around easy, but at the same time are super light so you can easily lift them up. There’s no visible scratches, and I’ve ordered 1 first, then another, then the last two, over the course of a year (I wanted to make sure they were worth it). I am only giving 4 stars, because I noticed the last of the four chairs I ordered, is someone uneven on one stool foot, meaning it kind of teeters on the edge, but I think that with consistent sitters it will eventually even out. EDIT: more than 1 year later I am coming to update this to 5 stars. They have held up well and still look fabulous. And actually, I emailed the company directly on their site and they were able to send me the bottom bumper part that was missing. So for the great quality & excellent customer service, I’m bumping this up to 5 stars!! Review: This is a wonderful, sturdy stool. I was looking for a high table for my phone and couldn't find it. This is perfect and suits my needs. I have Louis Ghost chairs and a glass top table and this blends in with the decor perfectly. There is a hole in the top of the seat but this is not a problem for me or my use...it is circular and round and serves no purpose. If you are using them occasionally and mainly for decoration, they are perfect. I've had mine for a couple years now. They are showing some wear and cracks from the center hole from people picking them up to move them.
