Easy to use with consistent spray performance. The flat black color was perfect for my pellet grill. The heat source in the bottom of the grill caused the factory paint to flake off after about two years. So far this flameproof paint has held up and worked as described! No problems and I am very pleased with this easy fix. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommended for Exhaust,it's the best!! *by on Reviewed in the United States September 1, 2026* Vht ,I use it for painting exhaust on my motorcycle, never flakes of falls off looks good for years ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Stuff *by on Reviewed in the United States December 20, 2023* It is not the first time I am buying and using this High Temp Paint spray, either Flat Black or Glossy Black. It is relatively expensive and it provides good results on hot surfaces: it depends very much of the kind of the surface and the preparation work being done before the application. In my opinion, it provides longer durability when applied over a cast iron part (ex: exhaust manifold) than o a new exhaust pipe or muffler -- it will start to flake after several months, in particular off the aluminized or factory painted (exhaust) parts. On older exhaust parts, I had better luck after removing the surface rust and cleaning with good brake cleaner.Painted over the exhaust wrap... mixed results. It the wrap is in areas that are some more exposed to whatever flies under the vehicle, the paint and (later) the wrap is not going to last long, as they are not quite abrasion resistant.Otherwise: read and follow the instruction. ## Frequently Bought Together - VHT Flameproof Coating Very High Heat Flat Blue - VHT SP128 Engine Enamel Gloss Yellow Can - 11 oz. - VHT SP201 Wrinkle Plus Black Coating Can - 11 oz. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/6534437-vht-flameproof-coating-flat-blue-11-oz](https://www.desertcart.at/products/6534437-vht-flameproof-coating-flat-blue-11-oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
