You never have to pay at a post office for delivery. If you receive any text purporting to be Royal Mail and demanding payment for a delivery, it's a scam. Ignore it. That is a scam that is being used to get bank information by scammers. Amazon delivery is fine and my deliveries have always arrived next day -- on time, every time.
