Review: Way better then sticky mats. - This is literally the coolest thing ever. I hate dealing with sticky mats. I'm using this for cardstock and stickers and love it.
Review: Game changer for Silhouette Portrait 4, but find lots of video instructions before using - Once we figured out how to use it (minimal to no instructions were included) it was wonderful and made using our silhouette cutting machine much easier. I would recommend looking up a LOT of YouTube videos about how to attach the electrostatic mat, align it and use it before making the same mistakes we did

## Features

- The Electrostatic Mat attachment for the Portrait 4 makes loading and unloading materials cleaner and easier than ever before. It gives firmer holds to your delicate materials* without damaging them while removing them from the mat.
- The Electrostatic Mat has an electrically conductive network that builds up static electricity to hold materials in place during cutting. Because the material can be held without an adhesive mat, it is now possible to cut materials without damaging them upon removal. Additionally, when unloading the cut project, there is no tearing or curling, and clean-up is a breeze.
- The Electrostatic Mat works best with smooth, non-permeable materials. Materials with a heavy texture will not work with the Electrostatic Mat.
- Only compatible with the Portrait 4 model.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Way better then sticky mats.
*by H***Y on July 1, 2026*

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Game changer for Silhouette Portrait 4, but find lots of video instructions before using

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Way better than the regular sticky mat! Highly recommend.
*by S***A on January 27, 2025*

I highly recommend using this electrostatic mat over the regular sticky mat that comes with the Portrait 4. This is very easy to set up and connect to the machine. And silhouette studio has settings where it will automatically detect the new mat. I can easily cut out stickers now without any issues of my stickers getting damaged from the sticky backed mat or staying stuck or having an residue left on the back of my material. The only thing that is difficult is knowing the exact amount of pressure and force to use to not cut through the protective sheet on the electrostatic mat. You can replace that part however.
