Review: Highly recommended! - I bought this for my RODE Procaster as I was fed up of the clampon pop filter constantly moving around and having to be replaced. I don't like the feel or look of the standard foam shields so thought I'd try this. It's good quality, fits the mic perfectly & well made. Super soft, it serves it's purpose. It reduces plosives & sibilence which I suffer from. There is minimal impact but some on the frequencies in the upper end but nothing drastic & can be compensated for with eq. Overall it makes my voice a little softer which I like. It's good value & quality but most of all it's highly functional & I think looks good.
Review: Works Well For The Rode Podmic - As stated in other reviews, this item comes vacuum packed and flat. Although it doesn't mention this in the instructions on the packaging, the pop shield will spring back to its original shape if you run it under warm water for about a minute. It took a couple of days to dry out in the conservatory before use. The shield is a nice snug fit for the Podmic which allows you to pull it all the way down to cover the 75% of the length of the mic, or experiment by placing the shield at different positions if you want to go close mic.

I bought this for my RODE Procaster as I was fed up of the clampon pop filter constantly moving around and having to be replaced. I don't like the feel or look of the standard foam shields so thought I'd try this. It's good quality, fits the mic perfectly & well made. Super soft, it serves it's purpose.
