Review: Nice but crazy loud PSU - Nice compact PSU which fits nicely in even the most cramped chassis. The big problem with it is the truly crazy noise levels it puts out. Running with an ARM board with a single NVMe drive (probably about 70-80w) the noise output is easily the loudest component in my entire rack. It's worse than a graphics card under full load .. and I can hear it in the next room. If you buy this you need to factor in another 10 or 11 ukp for a silent fan. I recommend the noctua NF-A4-10. ## Features - Support standard Flex ATX form factor - High efficiency with 80 PLUS Gold certification - 350W continuous power output at 40℃ operating temperature rated for 24/7 operation - Class-leading single +12V rail - Support PCIe 6pin connector - Active PFC ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07BVTT69K | | Best Sellers Rank | 40,601 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) 370 in Power Supplies | | Brand | SilverStone | | Brand Name | SilverStone | | Compatible Devices | pc | | Compatible devices | pc | | Connector Quantity | 5 | | Connector Types | ATX, PCI Express | | Connector type | ATX , PCI Express | | Cooling Method | Air | | Current Rating | 29.17 Amps | | Customer Reviews | 3.8 out of 5 stars 251 Reviews | | Fan Size | 40 Millimetres | | Form Factor | Flex ATX | | Form factor | Flex ATX | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04710007225912 | | Item Dimensions | 15 x 8.1 x 4 centimetres | | Item Type Name | Flex Series, 350W, 80 Plus Gold PC Power Supply, Low Noise 40mm fan | | Item Weight | 0.93 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Silverstone | | Manufacturer Part Number | 30327 | | Maximum Input Voltage | 12 Volts (DC) | | Minimum Input Voltage | 100 Volts (AC) | | Model Name | SST-FX350-G | | Model Number | 30327 | | Model name | SST-FX350-G | | Number of Fans | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Output Wattage | 350 Watts | | Output wattage | 350 Watts | | Power Supply Design | Non-Modular | | Product Warranty | All SilverStone products have a minimum 2-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. It's likely not to follow standard sizing. **Q: May i ask to comment on the amount of noise under high cpu load?** A: Its depepends on what CPU you are using as well as total system load. I have a i5 4590 and it becomes audible under load. **Q: Will this fit into the silverstone sst-rvz03b - raven?** A: It should be fine. Mine was a mini itx build and that fit perfectly. My rig is small enough to fit in a medium size rucksack. Hope this helps. **Q: Would this fit a hp s5653uk? and motherboard ms-7613?** A: depends on the age of the other equiptment, modern power supply outputs have to cope with more stringent standards imposed by the lower voltage demands of modern CPU which need less fluctuation of that voltage than order CPUs could cope with. The different specification require by moder CPUs mean that modern power supplys are nolonger backwards compatible. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice *by C***I on 11 January 2021* It's a nice little psu the 40 mm fan does make just a tad bit more noise than a standard 80-120 mm one but with this I can throw the pc in a backpack and be on my way. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Nice but crazy loud PSU *by D***M on 5 March 2020* Nice compact PSU which fits nicely in even the most cramped chassis. It sure isn't. *by M***N on 9 March 2020* Very disappointed, I figured getting a high wattage unit for my NAS that claimed low noise would mean the fan could slow down due to never being heavily loaded. Sadly as seems to be the case for all FlexATX PSUs, it doesn't have a PWM fan so it sounds the same regardless of load and doesn't seem any quieter than the PSU my case came with. Its not a bad PSU, I'd expect it to last a long time due to being more efficient with low-load compared to the stock PSU, but I had really hoped it would be quieter. Its such a shame the best NAS cases compromise on the PSU, as just moving up to SFX you can find PSUs that are almost completely silent. Its rather bizarre as you can find external power bricks up to around 250W that are much quieter than this, so not sure why nobody has managed to make a FlexATX that is quiet. I can only guess its because typically FlexATX is for rack mounted hardware where noise level is not an issue. ## Frequently Bought Together - SilverStone SST-FX350-G - Flex Series, 350W, 80 Plus Gold PC Power Supply, Low Noise 40mm fan - Noctua NH-L9a-AM4, Premium Low-profile CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Brown) - Gigabyte A520I AC Motherboard - Supports AMD Ryzen 5000 Series AM4 CPUs, 6 Phases Digital VRM, up to 5300MHz DDR4 (OC), 1xPCIe 3.0 M.2, WIFI, GbE LAN, USB 3.2 Gen1 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/65994407-flex-series-fx350-80plus-power-supply](https://www.desertcart.at/products/65994407-flex-series-fx350-80plus-power-supply) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
