Review: I'm disappointed! - Update: So, I returned the vacuum and got a refund. Then a couple weeks later they reached out to us, wanting to send us a replacement. We explained that we had already returned it and gotten a refund, but they still wanted to give a replacement. We were pretty surprised by that! I'm sure they wanted me to update the review, and you know what, I'm happy to! I waited several months, because I was kinda expecting it to stop functioning as well, or at all, but it has been great!! I have it scheduled for every night, and it pretty much completely keeps up with our family of 3 adults and 3 kids, as well as all the company and extra kids we have over all the time. Every now and then I sweep to get in corners, but this thing does the heavy lifting of all the floor cleaning in our house! I barely do anything except refill the water! I'm so thankful for it. I think we'll be purchasing one as a gift. I've been holding off on that until we saw if this replacement was good, but I'm confident the first one we got was just a dud. We're super happy with it! Great customer service! Old review: At first it felt like magic. That lasted about a week. From the very first day I got errors saying the dust collection couldn't be done successfully because it was clogged. Every single time I checked the robot and the base both thoroughly and they weren't clogged, and it always seemed like it emptied the dust just fine. That's workable, so I wasn't too worried. Then I started realized it had stopped the scheduled nightly cleanings after about the first week! I just checked that it's on the schedule and it's still there. Tonight I told it to clean a specific room and it couldn't find "the specified area" over and over. Review: App needs work, robotic logic needs work. Doesn't last. - Update (7.7.24 - 8 months): Reducing my Rating to 1. I'm sorry I purchased this and feel as though it was a waste of money. At best I can use this as a regular vacuum without the mop function from here out but now need to find a new solution to mopping my main floor's hardwoods and kitchen tiles. What a waste. I had noticed that the internal collection compartment was getting gunked up. It seems that because it is vacuuming and mopping at the same time, it is basically mixing dust and water to make a mess inside the vacuum. When you normally mop, you sweep the area first or vacuum it, then mop. This device mops while vacuuming which makes wet dirt. This then is not ejected into the waste cannister correctly and can quickly build up. Essentially, you need to manually clean the vacuum every time you use it with the mopping feature defeating the purpose of the automatic waste cannister. Today I noticed the unit is leaking. I don't know from where but I found a wet spot beneath the charging station and it appears the hardwood floors beneath have been slightly damaged due to getting wet over time. I wanted to like this product and did my best to give it every chance. Unfortunately it fails to deliver on what it was designed to do and in the future I will not be looking to Eureka for my vacuum or mop needs. (original post) Purchased this for the 1st floor of my house 4 months ago. Tile kitchen, hard wood hall, hard wood dining room with an area rug. I also have a step down into a sunken living room and on the opposite side of the house, a step down into a sunken den. I don't have pets. I knew the living room and den would need the vac picked up and set back down which was fine. My main goal was to get something that would mop the kitchen and hardwoods regularly. Here's my experience thus far. What I like: - The cleanout cannister doesn't need to be emptied after each cleaning, is easy to use and dump out, and doesn't require special bags like some of the other brands. - The mop feature has been doing a decent job keeping the floors clean. - For a mop and vac unit, the price was good compared to some of the other brands. What I don't like: - The App is not the best. Some screens just need you to select a different option but other screens require you to also select a tiny check at the top corner. Not very intuitive. The room maps allow you to set up named regions and even virtual walls but there's no options to set mop or vac intensity by room. For example, I'd want my kitchen mopped with the highest mop settings but the halls with the lowest. Also, I've set it to not mop at all and just vacuum and found it mopping anyways. - The logic gets confused and I have one spot where it will continually return to, back up, move a few feet away, then return to the same location again. It will do this over and over until it runs out of charge. I've tried remapping the area, relocating the base station, doesn't matter. I just now set up a virtual wall in the App to try and stop this from happening. - Mopping reservoir has no gauge and the vac and app do not indicate when the unit is empty. As I haven't tried any other brands of vac/mop combo's, I don't know if any of these issues are better or worse industry wise.

Update: So, I returned the vacuum and got a refund. Then a couple weeks later they reached out to us, wanting to send us a replacement. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing value - bagless, 8000pa suction, excellent obstacle avoidance, and decent mopping

I’ve wanted a robot vacuum for a long time and I’m so glad I finally got one. I live in a house with multiple pets so the floors are always dirty. It is so nice to have clean floors everyday without having to do anything. It has sensors all over so it avoids bumping into objects and will automatically increase suction and raise mop pads when on carpet. This vacuum also doesn’t require any replacement bags which saves money - why aren’t all robot vacuums bagless? One of my favorite things about this is how it cleans hard to reach areas like under the sofa and under curved table legs that my regular vacuum is too big to reach. I couldn’t believe how much dust was emptied into the dust canister after the first use - all of it came from under the sofa that I could never reach. There’s also a mop function that works better than expected. It’s got a water tank that drips water over a microfiber pad and wipes along as it vacuums; pretty standard for robots in this price range. The mop pad gets dirty when used so it is helping clean my floor. I don’t think it can replace actual mopping but it is better than nothing. Overall I’m very pleased with my new robot vacuum. It saves so much time and effort, cleans hard to reach places, and improves the quality of everyday life - I love having clean floors at the press of a button. Technology is so amazing these days!
