## Questions & Answers

**Q: I have a truck camper cabin with an Aluminum skin inside which feels cold and has been damaged cosmetically. Is this product suitable?**
A: To be honest i don't know your best bet is to remove the inner skin of your camper van and use traditional like you put in your loft insulation between outer and inner skin off camper van. I personally would only use this product on a soild internal brick wall it can be pasted straight onto plaster of the inside of your exterior wall. Believe me its works. If you do use this product it may create mould behind the insulation as the aluminium is cold and creates condensation in bad weather as there's only a thin skin between inside outside of your camper van. Hope i help friend.

**Q: Has anyone used this on the 4 inch curve were ceiling ends and wall starts, we get condensation as the curve is the underside of rafter and no insulat**
A: I presume you mean the coving in the room! I dont think that the thermal liner would be ideal as it would not give you a clean edge top and bottom..If the condensation is only on one wall and not all round the room it may be moisture from above that is the issue not internal, and I would look into this further Sorry I cant be more helpful

**Q: Is Wallrock kv600 available in USA...and if not, why not?**
A: Although I don't definitely know, I am sure the same thing or something very similar is available.

**Q: Has anyone lined the back of a fitted wardrobe on with this? How has it performed through winter? Does the wardrobe now feel warmer - no condensation?**
A: Yes. Still early days, but it seems to have helped. You may find the graphite/polystyrene rolls combined with a fire resistant roll more effective - although that stuff does tend to crack when unrolled it is much lighter and supposedly warmer. You could use the fire retardant with the KV600 and it may be worth it anyway in terms of inhibiting potential fire risks

Made a big difference to external walls around bay window

Bit difficult to work with and need sharp scissors / knife to cut which it blunts over time. Also uses a lot of the specialist paste, but it sticks well consisting the weight! The room now gets warm with the central heating (too hot actually, which it’s never done before!). Heat is also retained for a while after the heating has knocked off, it never did this before and lost heat instantly.Expensive, but it does work!

    Absolutely superb stuff.

If you live in an old house and you are thinking about insulation, this may just be all you will ever need. How do I describe this stuff. It's like a dense blanket on the inside and a tough wallpaper on the outside. The impact on room temperature is immediate. Buy the sharpest cutter you can get because your run of the mill wallpaper cutter would struggle. I have applied the liner in one room. Now I'm planning to apply it to the inside of my remaining outer walls.Regarding the negative comment about this liner not solving mould problem, I would take that with a pinch of salt. I am not a builder. But from my knowledge of mould the causes often have little to do with insulation. Poor air circulation leading to condensation, and the so called (some would say mythical) rising damp are more likely the primary causes. Cold wall act as the final link in many cases.

    Makes a difference

My external walls are not cold to touch anymore. Given that it is 1m wide, the paper is not easy to handle but it was OK. There was some minor creases at one edge of the role because of the weight when it is stored upright I think but all in all happy with the product and I am covering all external walls from inside.- Fixing wall cracks: I fixed some deep wall cracks with Ronseal Smooth Finish Exterior filler (grey) and some small ones with just excess glue.- Cleaning the walls: I wiped the walls with Dettol Anti Mould Spray and cleaned the wall surface and any black spots first, opened windows and aired the room.- Cutting: I measured and added extra length and then cut with scissors.- Gluing: I have used Wallrock Thermal Liner Adhesive mixed with Dryzone Anti-Mould Paint Additive to glue it to walls. You see the paper side, wall sees the fluffy side; glue on the fluffy side.- Marking the screw holes: I used sewing pins with heads through the paper as trying to make holes through the wet paper (softened by glue) were causing creases.- Trimming edges: I overlapped the ceiling mounding and wall skirting and with extra paper. I used a craft knife and renewed the tip often. I used Draper Straight Edge to push into corners and as the guide for the knife.- Smoothing: I used lots of old pieces of clothes and washed them after use before the glue on them dries.- Around the windows: I pre-cut pieces for some parts around window, unless they continued from the wall. I waited for the wall section to dry before folding into window sides.- Behind the radiators: I loosened the side-bolts just enough, lifted the radiators up and put them down horizontally, and tightened the bolts to stop leaking and removed the wall brackets. I put the radiators back after it dried.
