I have a computer desk the sub woofer will sit on the floor and is it longer then 6 feet ?!** A: all 3 speaker cables are approx 6 ft long. The left and right spkrs can be extended because they plug-in. The sub-woofer is hard wired to the control pod, so it cannot be extended. I just tested this with multiple pairs. The headphone jack on the volume pod is simply a passthrough. It's no different than plugging them straight into your computer. **Q: Does anyone know exactly how this is plugged into your computer how is it powered, how is it plugged into the computer, how are the speakers connected** A: Speakers are connected to the subwoofer with a mini jack. So if you want to extend the length of your speakers, you can get an extension cable. The subwoofer provides the power and plugs into an electrical outlet. You connect the system to your laptop computer via the headphone jack, or to the input jack on a desktop computer. The instructions that come with the system are very easy to follow. **Q: How many watts per sattelite and per subwoofer does have? I mean per channel, not system global...** A: It's at leaset 25 Watts (RMS) 50 Watts peak at 4 Ohms. I had the right speaker stop working on mine because it got dropped. I pulled the amplifier and power supply out of the subwoofer cabinet and it's now running 2 bookshelf 2-way speakers with 6.5" woofers and the subwoofer connection is running to a 12" Kicker Comp sub in a ported enclosure and it is loud with plenty of bass. It's in my den and if I go outside the gutters on the outside of the house rattle. I kid you not!! Amazing! I'm thinking of buying another one of these to take apart and use that amazing amp in something else. Obviously, plenty of power and the stock speakers work fine, but the stock 4" woofer in the base box will max out if not careful. I don't see much point in the "remote" volume control which is wire connected when volume is easily controlled at the computer.
