It has five different TPD settings: 650, 900, 1200, 1500 and 1800.It rotates clockwise counter-clockwise, or alternates in between. The winder will repeat its cycle every hour. You can attach unlimited number of units together with patented corner connectors sold separately, and they can share power from one AC adapter. (see photos).Easy to use and set functions with bright digital LCD display: TPD: Indicates to number of Turns Per Day. MODE: Indicates to rotation direction. On and Off button .Electric power (AC Adapter included), or two C size batteries (not included). Loaded with Japanese Mabuchi motor.Operation:1. Pull watch holder out of turntable drum.2. Wrap your watch around it and place it back. 3. Plug the AC adapter to the wall outlet and the other end to the back of the watch winder. 4. Press ON button to turn the watch winder On or Off. Note: When you want to operate the unit with batteries turn the switch to BAT on the back of the unit, it is recommended that you take the batteries out when unit is used with AC power adapter. Important: This unit has an hourly cycle; it will rotate certain minutes of the hour and rest remaining minutes of the hour. If you set it at 650 TPD it will rotate about 3.5 minutes and rest 56.5 minutes, it will restart next hour again by itself, and rotate another 3.5 minutes and rest for 56.5 minutes and so on. 900 TPD rotates about 5 minutes and rest 55 minutes per hour.1200 TPD rotates about 6.5 minutes and rest 53.5 minutes per hour. 1500 TPD rotates about 9 minutes and rest 51 minutes per hour.1800 TPD rotates about 10.5 minutes and rest 49.5 minutes per hour.

Review: Accuratic Expandable Watch Winder - Great Design - I recently purchased two of these winders along with the brackets to connect them. Winders arrived quickly, and were nicely packaged for shipment. Winder boxes were exceptional with perfect fitting foam packing to cushion them. Included was a 4.5 VDC, 1000mA AC adapter, a small tube containing WD40 oil and a hex wrench which fits all exposed screws. (The connectors are a bit pricey for plastic, but not a deal-breaker as many can be re-used when expanding your winder system. Of course you end up with a few corners you removed from the winders that you'll probably have no use for.) Assembly of the two winders was a breeze. Connector easily slid into both winders and locks down with a screw in each winder. The LCD control is back-lit for easy viewing, and the Turns/Day and Winding Direction easily set. I checked the two winders on my setting which is 1200 TPD, bi-directional. For the details I'll call the winders "A" and "B". Here's what I found. If you start the winders at 9:00 they will start a winding cycle at the top of every hour; that is, at 10:00, 11:00, etc. they'll start a winding cycle again. For the 1200 TPD setting they both wound for six minutes and twenty-five seconds. The first full 6:25 was in the clockwise direction only. The next winding cycle went counter-clockwise for 6:25 as well. So in the bi-directional setting, you have 12 winding cycles going CW, 12 cycles going CCW in a 24-hour period. Both winders operated VERY quietly and smoothly, and both turned slightly slower in the CCW direction. *** Winder "A" *** CW Cycle had 50.6 turns in 6:25 for a rotational rate of about 7.9 Turns/Minute, 607 CW Turns/Day. CCW Cycle had 50.4 turns in 6:25 for a rotational rate of about 7.9 Turns/Minute, 605 CCW Turns/Day. *** Winder "B" *** CW Cycle had 49.5 turns in 6:25 for a rotational rate of about 7.7 Turns/Minute, 594 CW Turns/Day. CCW Cycle had 48.9 turns in 6:25 for a rotational rate of about 7.6 Turns/Minute, 587 CCW Turns/Day. Note: Winder "B" held a larger watch which may account for the slightly slower rotational speed. WHAT I LIKE - The flexible expansion capability is impressive. The winders have a relatively small footprint so they can go in places where other winders can't. Adding one winder at a time you can just keep making it larger or separate them as needed. And, if one winder breaks, you just replace it. (These are replacing a dual-winder which has one bad turntable.) The LCD control panel is simple yet has all the settings I need. And, the back-lighted readout is a plus. The clear plastic door firmly latches to help minimize dust, and the watch holders held my watches securely and it is padded somewhat. WHAT I'D IMPROVE - The back-lighted display goes out after about 10 seconds if no buttons are pushed. You need to push a button for the control panel to become active. It would be nice to have the LCD display lighted when a winding cycle is actively running. It's not a major issue, just would be a nice touch. Would I recommend these winders? A definite YES!!! I plan on adding a few more over the next few weeks and possibly a backup unit as well. Can't speak on the reliability yet, but they appear to be solid, very well made and extremely quiet when running. At the price they're quite a deal.
Review: So Far. So Good - I have been using this watch winder for almost a week and it appears to be working well. It does not run all of the time set on 650, but I can see that the watch has turned looking through the clear cover and it appears to be keeping good time. When the winder does run, it's very quiet, the main noise being the watch moving on its holder, as the bracelet fits a little loose. The winder casing is fairly large and rather plain looking, which is why I gave it only 4 stars. I chose black to make it as inconspicuous as possible. I'm not sure whether the plastic winder casing would scratch a wood surface, but I added some felt pads on the bottom just to make sure it doesn't. The instruction sheet is quite brief and could stand to be improved. I don't plan to add a second winder, but looking at the enclosed power cord and the connections on the back of the winder, I have no idea how one would connect one winder to another without needing to connect two separate power cords to a wall outlet. There is an "out" terminal on the back of the winder as well as an "in" terminal, but I don't see how the power cord could connect to the "out" terminal and another winder, and the instruction sheet does not mention the "out" terminal at all. The big question, of course, is how long this winder will last, as watch winders are notorious for breaking down. My last one (I don't recall the brand) stopped working after about a year. Hopefully, this one with the Mabuchi motor will last much longer. If so, the price of the winder would appear to be a very good value given the higher price of many competing winders.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: how to oil?**
A: No oil ... motors are sealed

**Q: Any idea how to get spare of control panel ? All from mine seems to be broken**
A: I would try eBay. This doesn't have great customer service.

**Q: Will this work with a Seiko Kinetic watch?**
A: Yes. However, less of an angle (this would qualify as 90 degrees) according to a 'watch artisan' I know. The 'kinetic' is an especially stiff automatic movement and modifying the angle to 70 degrees or less to a maximum of 45 degrees; you can find this in online research, but it's a pain). However, you can prop the box which I think is included even in that watch winder's instructions. Be very careful, it's quite fragile. The controls are accurate. If you have strong hands watch it with the watch holder itself. ...I had one.

**Q: Does the AC adapter have auto voltage which would be 110-230V AC 50/60 HZ. I live and work in Europe and this is must for me.**
A: no you'll need an adapter

### ⭐⭐ Not my favorite watch winder
*by V***N on January 7, 2012*

I have ordered several watch winders and the attraction to this winder was its physical size which allows it to be placed into a relatively small safe! Thats good. The winder seems to function properly but I have had much difficulty in simply pulling out the device you wrap your watch around and simply placing it back in! It is too tight a fit...especially once a watch is loaded on. The front closing plastic cover doesnt shut flush with the box. I just received this one so I will continue to update should I see it is simply "user error". It is all straight forward so I doubt that is the case. I own several other winders - but want this one for physical fitting into safe. Otherwise product looks good and the motion all seems to work fine...so far.
