As I read through the other reviews I couldn’t help but laugh because I almost made the same mistake myself before I realized what was going on. After you get the patch applied to your skin & you feel this thick “tape like” on top of the patch that is another cover that has to be removed! If you bend a bit on the blue lines they will open up & you can pull the thick tape protective covering away to reveal the soft flexible skin like patch that covers your skin around the patch. I know it describes this in the instructions but that is hard for a lot of people to read so here are a few pics to show you the lines on the top & how they lift up & how what they show underneath don’t be like me & undo the big side of the white piece first or it will bunch up your skin like it did mine lol 😂 but just so ya know it’s as thin as your skin. If you feel anything thicker you didn’t take off all of the protective coverage of the patch! I truly like these so far. Hopefully I won’t be allergic to them! I’ll update in 10 days when I remove my monitor! UPDATE: it’s now May I’ve been using these since December & I still recommend them they sometimes come lose around the edges so I’ll take them off & I’ll have to put a new one on but overall they’re great & for the price it’s inexpensive. They feel just like your skin so you don’t even know it’s on because it’s so thin.
