A: If your bread machine recipe calls for yeast, this definitely works.

**Q: Where is it made?**
A: Milwaukee, Oregon is the only location referenced on thenpackaging.

**Q: Can unopened bags be stored in the freezer and, if yes, how long can they be frozen?**
A: I just pulled one out of the freezer after a year. I keep the one I'm currently using in my refrigerator. As long as your water is warm (110-115 degrees F) and you add a 1/2 teaspoon sugar or maple syrup, then cover it for 5 minutes to bloom, it still works (also called sponge).

**Q: What is the expiration date?**
A: I don’t worry about expiration dates if it is stored in the freezer or tefrigerator.
