This brace has a comfortable amount of compression, a nice hug for your knee and the straps can be worn in different ways for additional support. It warns you on the package insert not to let the Velcro straps to attach to the brace itself... Listen to that, be smarter than me. It won't ruin it I don't think, just a cosmetic problem. I was kinda between sizes and went down when I should've went up, but after a quick email exchange with Oliver they sent out the correct size right away and now I wear the smaller one on my left knee and the bigger one on my right which is the one I needed. I'm 6' / 260 and got the 3XL for both of my arthridic knees. They were fantastic. Comfortable. Supportive. Then October 1st came and they started to slide out of place. I had to readjust them at least once a day.
