Originally launched in 2008, the new 2021 Slumit GOBI 3 FlashFrame™ tent comes packing with design and performance tweaks. The modish GOBI continues to prove popular for 2-3 people.The FlashFrame™ is an innovative exoskeleton pull up frame system that enables the user to quickly pitch the inner and outer layers together, at the same time, in seconds. So no more threading poles to pitch the inner tent first and then the outer, which can not only be time consuming, but especially problematic during wet conditions. The FlashFrame™ solves this problem. All whilst offering a smaller, more manageable compact packing size to a standard popup tent. NB. The GOBI 3 requires one fiber pole (supplied) to be threaded and clipped – the FlashFrame™ does all the rest! **Q: Can an inexperienced camper set this tent up, and take it down, alone-easily? Thanks**
A: Yes its easy peasy  !! And very quick to set up ive been staying in this tent long term not a drop of rain has ever come through this tent im actually gonna buy another as ive put a couple of small holes in ground sheet through smoking the tent is amazing and big in size i will buy some tent carpet next time just for added protection from smoking done all seasons in this !!

**Q: Im torn between gobi or cub for going on a motorcycle...any bikers want to give their advice please?**
A: I have cub and I find its only just long enough for me to lie in, and I'm only 5 foot 4. I've read of taller people having to sleep diagonally in the cub. Even though my 2 metre mat squeezes in, the edges taper a little so your head won't fit right into the crack of the tent. My head ends up pretty close to the edge and my toes are pressed against the inner tent.
I find the tent has some niggles that I wish were fixed, but it's a very convenient tent for a motorcycle... Especially if you tour around from place to place each day like i do. I used to dread packing up the tent every day!

Note, if you're in Scotland, the fly mesh doesn't keep out midgies, so pray for a breeze.

A: No it is just a tent with the net type living area.
