Review: Paid for itself dozens of times over. - Quick review for a product that vastly exceeded expectations. This was my 3rd replacement for cheap tire inflators that failed just a few uses. I had a set of rims that never sealed properly despite being checked and serviced on multiple occasions by different shops, even with new tires mounted. Every wheel would eventually develop a slow leak and I was using an inflator enough to be embarrassed about it. The 3 inflators prior to this purchase failed in just a few uses each. Whether it was the compressor, power cable, or some other electrical issue, nothing around the $20-30 price was going survived what I would even call light use. (Shoutout to Slime products for being some of the most unreliable hardware/junk I've ever used!) I was getting rid of the car and its awful rims, so I really didn't want to spend much on quality. This was my last try before the nuclear option of dropping $100+ on some sort of battery charger/tire inflator combo or behemoth from Milwaukee that I would never use. So I did some very light research and after seeing a few decent reviews, settled on this thing for the same price, 2 years ago. Since then, this solid little unit has done everything I've ever asked of it, and I've asked a lot. It has never failed to air up even a full set of 4 perfectly average, 17" 225/50 tires, from fully flat to overinflated (slow leaks!). Even after pumping up a full set of tires from low pressures, I don't think I ever triggered the overheat protection of the unit. The digital pressure gauge and cutoff feature of the unit are pretty accurate when checked with a manual gauge; I never underinflated a tire in relation to my desired PSI. It's not fast. I don't think you can get --or should want-- fast at this price point, but it is reliable. EPAuto says not to use it on truck tires; I think you probably could if you had to, but singles only, with lots of breaks. They don't seem to have wasted much money on crappy cases that conceal tiny compressors like others at this range, so it doesn't look cool. Oh well, never going to impress anybody airing tires anyway. It has a spotlight, which has come in handy more often than I expected. My biggest knock against the EPAuto is the screw-on valve connector, which can be a pain to use. I always felt like I was losing a pound or two of air while scrambling to disconnect hose quickly, but protip: a little brass schrader quick-connect chuck for $5-10 her on desertcart and that problem is solved. (Or overinflate by a pound or two and stop whining) It comes in a decent little soft carrying case, and it has storage slots for coiling the power cord and air hose. It's crazy, but it almost seems like they cared about how this product might actually be used more than once. It would make a nice little emergency tool for the trunk, even if you own more expensive compressors. I rarely give reviews, but good products at inexpensive prices deserve it.
Review: Reliable and Easy to Use - This portable air compressor works exactly as expected. It inflates tires quickly, is easy to use, and the compact size makes it perfect to keep in the car for emergencies. The power cord is long enough to reach all four tires, and the pressure gauge is clear and accurate. Great value for the price. Highly recommended!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How long is the power cord, how long is the filler?**
A: The cord is about 9 ft, and the filler is about 2 1/2 feet.

**Q: sometimes my tire pressure increases by itself when I go on a long rides so my question is if i need 33psi but my tires have 35 so how i can take out**
A: Tire pressure increases with heat - and tires heat up when rolling. 33 psi is a cold tire pressure - only check tire pressure when the vehicle hasn't been driven for several hours. 35 psi is not high pressure - you should be more concerned with your driving instead of two psi increase in your tire pressure.

**Q: Does this have a wall outlet plug also?**
A: It requires 12v DC 10 AMP from your vehicle, but not home AC outlet. Do not suggest to use any AC to DC converts.

**Q: How do you turn on the flash light. I just received my unit, which has a yellow power switch, not the black one that has 3 positions?**
A: The printed instructions have a numbered diagram...#5 is the Flashlight/Power Switch. When plugged-in, the light should come on and stay on when the Power Switch is on.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First one was dead, Next two were excellent!
*by J***M on January 31, 2017*

Update on 3/8/2017 - Still working like a charm! Inflates quickly, quietly, and accurately. I highly recommend - It's small, powerful, and I'm confident that it will get me out of a jam when I need a small, portable compressor. It's already saved me a lot of grief a couple of times, when I find a tire almost on its rim and I need to get air in in it to make the vehicle roadworthy. No regrets on this purchase at all! Update on 2/7/2017 - Received a replacement pump, and it works like a champ! VERY Pleased. As a matter of fact, I was so pleased, I ordered another so I could have one in each of the two cars. It inflates quickly and quietly. It's compact, and seems to be rather durable. Original post: I bought this "EPAuto 12V 120W Portable Air Compressor Pump, Digital Tire Inflator by 100 PS" from Amazon as an Amazon Prime customer yesterday, and it was delivered today. Yay! I opened the box, and was rather excited to find it had some weight to it (not a lot), It but didn't seem flimsy or cheap in any way. I thought that if I were to drop it (or even toss it, and the recipient of the toss missed it, it would survive being dropped). It's a rather solid feeling unit, and seemed to be built much better and more durable than other pumps I've owned. Now, the test - I took it outside, plugged it in to the cigarette lighter socket of the car (making sure the power switch was set to the off position first), started the engine of the car, and saw that the display on the pump illuminated. I screwed the fitting for the fill hose onto the tire valve, and it told me the tire pressure was at 14.5 psi. I thought (and hoped) this compressor would remedy that issue, until I adjusted the desired pressure with the bottons to 35psi, turned on the power switch to on, and NOTHING happened. I turned the unit off, unplugged the unit (and the display on the unit went black) from the power source (cigarette lighter plug), checked the power cord in-line fuse, and the fuse looked fine. I plugged the unit back into the power source (cigarette lighter plug), the display lit back up, Yay! Powered up the pump again (turned the power switch back on),and NOTHING happened (again). No click, no noise at all. It was like the power switch was an ornament and not a functional piece of the unit. Right now, as I write this, it's back in it's in box with its accessories and packing materials being returned to Amazon, scheduled to be picked up tomorrow. I will order another one of these units to give this product another fair chance (as I would any restaurant or other merchant (Hey, everyone is entitled to an "off-day"), but so far, I'm very disappointed with the fact that this unit is a "#1 Best Seller" in the Amazon rating system, yet the quality control system for product is so <substitute the expletive of your choice here>. Did they test this item, spot check some, or what?!?!? OR, maybe just pushed ot out the door, resting on its laurels? Other recent reviews of this "EPAuto 12V 120W Portable Air Compressor Pump, Digital Tire Inflator by 100 PS" show similar experiences to mine. In the future, I'll pay more close attention to recent dates of the reviews. I will update this review when I receive the replacement unit I'm ordereing, and talk more about it when the time is right. I'd like to see t work, and last a while... Thank you for your time for reading this review, and I apologize if you find this review a bit "long-winded" (it IS for a compressor, after all, and I'm letting my compression out... :-) . Sincerely, Jim
