**Q: What is the dimension of the closed hinge? I have to fit the top, hinge, and leg into a two inch space when all folded.**
A: thickness of folded hinge is right around 1-1/4 inches to1- 5/16 inches.  It slopes just a tad when folded, with the thicker  (1-5/16) end being near where the 2 mounting plates would meet when folded in 90 degree position, and the lesser (1-1/4) end being near the far end mounting holes.
