Pics please.** A: I have purchased these pods for about two years, and it has 100% been my experience that I only purchase the Illy ESE pods that are sold and shipped by Amazon, and that when the price is at or close to full price, the dates reflect a fresher product. I have also purchased these pods sold/shipped by Amazon with a sale price, and those pods were closer to the expiration date. These are ESE pods. They won't work in your Keurig or Nespresso, and you can't simply put them in your espresso machine and expect to get good results. You'll need an espresso machine that has an actual ESE pod insert for the portafilter. Otherwise, you won't get the results you're looking for. If you have this, I think you'll find these are a very good way to make espressos with virtually no fuss, and none of the eco-problems inherent with capsules. You can put these in your compost. While I do mainly use my espresso maker to make drinks the old way (i.e., ground coffee in the naked portafilter) I do sometimes just want an espresso quickly without the grinding and clean-up. These do the trick. If I have a complaint, it's that you can't always tell how fresh the pods are.
