The customer might consider that the ziplock pouch provided is adequate storage; however, when I went to retrieve my remaining two beans, I found they were completely dried out and actually snapped in multiple pieces. I would suggest storing these in an airtight jar upon receipt to protect them. It does say on the package to store these in an airtight container, but I doubt most cooks/bakers will be reading the directions on the back.
