Then I went to use them for yoga class for the first time today, and the other one cracked. A couple weeks ago I ordered it again for my husband. This time the strap was of poorer quality than the first one I bought and I could tell immediately upon touching it with my hands. It is a lot thinner and "flimsier" than the first one I purchased. Kinda disappointed. I wasn’t disappointed. These are obviously denser and heavier, and that’s actually a good thing. They tend to stay in place better as you steady yourself into different positions, and it’s partucularly helpful for beginners who will use blocks more as they learn.The strap that came with these blocks are a bit of an afterthought, definitely flimsier than what I’m used to, but it does that job.
