## Description

Applications Presents a safe effective method for operators to machine metal, composites, graphite, etc. without special handling or typical disposal problems. Recommended for use on titanium, inconel, aluminum, stainless steel, graphite, composites, honeycomb, kevlar and wood. Can also be used with other ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Application of minute amounts of Boelube®, which is consumed in the metalworking process, will greatly improve tool life, surface finish and hole quality. High film strength and lubricity and unique polar properties are the keys to its ability to provide superior lubrication. Features Minimize heat generation and concurrent chip weld. Review: You think what will this really do? - I tried it since drilling some 316 cres. Broke 2 colbolt bits. Tried again with this stuff, same speed and feed, rubbed bit in the lube and worked, smoother to and felt cutter better on the mill. Should have used it prior and save me breaking two bits. I would recommend it. Still you look and think nah..

**Q: Is it water soluble?**
A: No it is a wax base

**Q: Has anyone used this product when drilling through stainless? If so how did it preform?**
A: Haven’t used it on stainless but used it on mild steel 1/4 steel plate made the bits go through like butter works great hope this helps

**Q: What is the difference between the soft blue, and medium blue versions?**
A: I don't know for sure, but I think the "soft" refers to the fact that it is more of a "goo" than a "paste"... and the "medium" is more paste-like.  For the small quick drilling applications I use it for, the soft works fine.  Just dip the drill bit in the goo and it sticks pretty well.  Maybe the paste wouldn't stick so well?  Again, just a guess, but seems right from what I could read online.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for Machining Metals and Plastics

I use this to machine aluminum, copper, brass, bronze and magnesium so far. Soon I'll be using it on mild and stainless steel, titanium and inconel. Helps with finish, temps, chip evac and tool life. The photo is of a project I'm doing with magnesium AZ31, the finish is silky smooth and the pattern is beautiful. I surfaced and left .002" behind to finish/pattern. Smeared a thin coat about the size of half an M&M along the top, ran a quick operation at .002" depth and now she shines...you can see some of the Boelube left in the hole that was milled out prior to facing. HIGHLY recommend this to any machinist who doesn't like or utilize flood coolant systems. Super easy to work with and easy to clean up. Remember to keep it cool as it starts to liquify once you start hitting the 80-85 degree F range. I've also used it with HDPE, UHMW, PVC and cast acrylic, works very well there to to keep heat down and provide a silky surface finish.
