UV bulb changed every 6 months I found suckers inadequate so added a heater clip with sucker to underneath works fine. A realy efficient filter. A potential problem you can only get replacement filter cartridge on desertcart, at present they have run out. But I love the filter

An excellent filter recommended. Air tubing needs a non return valve Sponge needs cleaning once a week Bio balls washed in tank water Charcoal change once a month. UV bulb changed every 6 months I found suckers inadequate so added a heater clip with sucker to underneath works fine. A realy efficient filter. A potential problem you can only get replacement filter cartridge on amazon, at present they have run out. But I love the filter
