## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you machine wash the mat?**
A: No you are not supposed to wash it . Just hoover it and dust it.

**Q: My cat doesn't use a litter tray but she does bring in lots of mud and grit on her paws, which ends up on my bed! Would this mat prevent grit and mud**
A: If your cat stayed mainly on the cat litter mat ( which is a large size) when she first came in with dirt & grit on her paws i suppose a lot of it would shake loose and fall onto the mat saving your bed from becoming as dirty. As cats are free spirits though she may not want to stay on the mat and so the dirt and grit could work itself free from her paws anyway.
If i was in the same situation i would place the cat litter mat on the bed to hopefully stop it becoming soiled as there is nothing to loose.

**Q: Can it be washed in washing machine?**
A: It can, although you'll want to shake any loose litter from the mat before washing it to keep your washing machine clear of blockages. Use a cool setting (less than 30°c) and you should be okay.

**Q: Has anyone managed to get the creases out of this?**
A: I ALSO HAD CREASES IN MY MAT,AND I SAID THAT THE MATS WOULD BE BETTER ROLLED FOR DELIVERY.. THE CREASES DO FLATTEN A BIT BUT NOT ENTIRELY......

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Litter mat
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 February 2025*

This mat has been used on the floor under the cat litter tray and I'm very satisfied with it. I was surprised to see it isn't washable in a washing machine but it does it's job very well. More than anything else I think it's the material it's made of which is the big advantage. It's kind of floppy and almost rubbery to feel, but the mat edges stay to the floor, so no tripping up and it mostly catches the overspill from our cats vigorous digging. A dustpan and brush takes care of clearing up the overspill but any tiny bits of dust will readily come out if you shake and beat the mat. It's generous size was a pleasant surprise as our cat has a large litter tray. We have the mat in grey and it fades into the floor cover colouring nicely. All in all it was an excellent purchase and I'm very happy with it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great litter tray mat.
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 September 2026*

Fantastic litter tray mat, used with a low level litter tray for a senior cat with arthritic legs. It captures any soiling outside of the litter box, due to the woven surface, even liquid stays in it, so that you can wash it through when cleaning the litter box. Top-tip, grab all four corners when lifting and when dealing with incontinence leaks.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for all cat owners
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 September 2025*

I have a Norwegian forest cat, with huge, furry paws, and he tracks litter around like you would not believe. But this catches a lot of it, and can carry quite a lot in the grooves, preventing the litter from getting further kicked around. Although it can be difficult to remove all the litter from the grooves. It is also easy to clean cat mess off of, and I have had no problem clearing cat poop in the past. It is also easily moved on hardfloor unless weighed down by the litter tray
