It actually holds my 32oz water bottle really well. Just got back from mountain biking and no rattling and easy to take out the water bottle and put back. I was hoping this holder would work with the existing mounting screws on the frame since there wasn’t any mention of this on the product description or in the reviews. About the 2 mounting holes the top one is a standard mounting hole but the bottom is about 1/4 inch track which allows for some variance in the distance of the mounting screws. I put the other bracket on my road bike which also works well.
