Review: Great quality - I bought a cheaper one off desertcart which failed miserably over the quality of the securing grub screws which were useless, they failed within a couple of times removing the saw from the frame. So I sent it back and purchased the Kreg one. The Kreg is a much superior quality tool in every way. So pay the extra and go for the Kreg you won't regret it. It's really accurate and can soon rip a 4 ft board in half, so if like me, you like to buy 8x4 sheet material but have to have it delivered because you can't get the width of the board in your car, this is ideal for ripping them into 2 ft widths to slide into the car, if you have the right car that is of course, which I thankfully do. I've also removed and replaced my saw numerous times and the grub screws haven't had any issues, like the cheaper version I previously purchased. So I'm well happy!

**Q: I need to rip 5cm (slightly under 2") strips of Ply. What is the minimum it will cut as I see there is some "dead zone"?**
A: The Kreg Rip Cut will go down to 1 Inch cut, so this will be perfect for your 5cm cut line.

**Q: Will this work with ryobi circular saws?**
A: Yes, it should do, provided you mean a typical (either corded or cordless) circular saw which uses a 160/165 mm or a 185 mm diameter blade.  It won't work with one of the typical 145 mm diameter blade mini circular saws, because their bases usually won't fit on the Rip-Cut sled.

**Q: Hi is there an extension so you can cut wider bit**
A: Not that I know of. I looked on the site and got nothing. This is great for cutting boards and I use it a lot, but a lot of what I do is with live edge boards so I will need to get a guide which will work with this.

**Q: Would this fit a dewalt dcs571 4 1/2" saw?**
A: I suspect not. Although it's not a DeWalt, I do have a 4½" circular saw, and there's no way it would fit into the sled of the Kreg rip-cut (whereas both my 165mm and 185mm circular saws fit into it fine).
