Put on the cuff, press the start button and wait for the reading. To make it even easier there is an on-screen indicator indicating whether the reading is “high” or “low”, with the reading also being automatically recorded (with date and time) in one of two memories where up to 60 recordings can be kept. A pulse figure is also recorded. The readings also seem accurate (mine was pretty much the same as the last time I went to a doctor), and the instructions are good. The device is powered by 4 AA batteries – which are supplied. And that is about it. It does what you want it to do, no more and no less, and is only as complex as it needs to be.
