Review: No longer has dark and strong-selling dye. Just read manufacturer notes on the product page. - I have used Jeyes fluid for many years, as did my parents before me. I am very used to the dark brown appearance and the strong smell - which somehow felt reassuring to me. The product has been changed slightly, the dye is no longer added, and it is now almost odourless. At first I wondered if I had been sent some sort of counterfeit item. However, on the Product page here, the manufacturer "blurb" states "We have removed the dye from our formula to ensure the product can be used across light coloured surfaces with no fear of staining. This hasn’t impacted the product performance." I use it for disinfecting/deodorising my food-waste bin and wheelie bins, and numerous other uses. It seems to work just as effectively as the old dark-coloured version used to.

A: Yes. It is a waste of money. Useless. Find a horse shop and get black fluid.

A: Hello, Jeyes Fluid Ready to Use is made to clean and disinfect paths, patios, decking and unblocks drains. Unfortunately, we are not able to comment on the results of using Jeyes on bamboo and root system.

A: Yes not recommended to put down near plants or near any thing that can be killed

Smells more like washing up liquid in the bottle, but once on the ground and given a good ord scrub, it smells 'Jeyes' .. Gets rid of dog waste smells, so does the job well. Shame it doesnt smell as strong as the old stuff..
