Over 500 knives. Best paddle strop I've ever seen, the diamond paste is top notch, the leather is just right in thickness, not too thin, not so cushy that it rounds the edge. Take your time applying the paste, it REALLY goes a very long way. I've bought twice, much happier now that I applied the paste more evenly, although it did a great job when I just haphazardly slopped some on the first one. This is top notch!

This is probably one of the best strops on Amazon in this price range. I got the large one and its a perfect size and very easy to use. The quality of the leather is very good and it comes with 6 different diamond compounds ranging from .5 micron to like 14 micron. I definitely recommend this strop.

I’m a big fan of Angerstone paddle strops, and this double-sided diamond leather strop continues to impress. One of the standout features is the leather itself - Angerstone uses a healthy 5 - 6 oz leather, which provides excellent tactile feedback while stropping. That feedback matters, and it’s something many competing strops miss by using thinner 3 - 4 oz leather that feels vague and less responsive. The double-sided design works well, and the included six diamond polishing compounds are a nice bonus, especially considering the overall price point. While the diamond compounds themselves are nothing extraordinary, they’re absolutely functional and noticeably better than the generic green polishing compound commonly included by other brands. Taken as a complete package, this is an exceptional value and easily one of the best bang-for-the-buck strops currently available. High-quality leather, good feedback, useful accessories, and a very competitive price make this an easy recommendation. TIP: I actually store my syringes of diamond compounds in repurposed cigar boxes and it works great! Overall, a well-made, high-quality strop at a great price - five stars without hesitation.
