I love these kits. It's a great idea. However, I wish the papers were lighter colors & easier to see with the pencil.

I bought this product to be used for a memorial service, hoping to use in lieu of water lanterns. Let me say, I love the concept the prayer paper; however, it is just fancy tissue paper cut into small squares. The company provides little pencils to use, but they are useless, as you cannot see what is written. I would suggest a fine Sharpie instead. Furthermore, there are little squares of thicker paper- maybe construction- provided to act as a stand. Don't bother with it. Too cumbersome to roll up your tissue to try to light and balance. I decided to use a firepit to release the papers into which worked fine. The size of the squares allowed the paper to burn quickly.  Just make sure it is not too windy and too much foliage is present :-)  So, in conclusion, depending on what you are purchasing this for, you can buy for the convenience of it or just buy tissue paper and cut it yourself (cheaper).

Really wanted to do Chinese lanterns because we are getting married on a boat! but research shows even the biodegradable ones are BAD for our critters and earth so…. 2nd best thing was this. Will be great but bring markers if you are buying a dark paper set. Received quickly will buy again…
